The 2024 vintage marks an important milestone for our estate with the awarding of two Gold Medals at the prestigious 2026 Concours Général Agricole, a key event in the French wine world.
Each year, this competition recognizes wines from all regions of France following rigorous tastings conducted by panels of professionals and experts. Receiving this recognition is a true encouragement and highlights the quality of the work carried out throughout the vintage.
This year, two of our Côtes de Bourg wines were honored:
🥇 Château Grand Jour Côtes de Bourg 2024
A beautiful, fine, and light wine with a lovely fruity attack.
A well-balanced wine that emphasizes freshness and the expression of the fruit, in an accessible and precise style.

🥇 Château La Barde Côtes de Bourg 2024
Fineness of aromas and a beautifully integrated structure on the finish.
A structured and harmonious wine, revealing remarkable aromatic complexity and an elegant finish.
The 2024 vintage required attention and precision, from vineyard management to blending decisions. Every choice was guided by a desire to best respect the identity of our terroir and faithfully translate its potential.
These two wines are the result of the work of our Technical Director, Yannick Brun, and his team. Their daily commitment, precision in both gestures and technical decisions, and deep knowledge of the vineyards were decisive in crafting these cuvées. These medals recognize their expertise and consistency.
Beyond the awards, this is a collective acknowledgment that encourages us to continue with the same dedication and passion, vintage after vintage.
