Built in the 17th century, Château L’Enclos is a fine example of the richness and elegance of Bordeaux’s historical and cultural heritage.
The vineyard is managed using sustainable viticultural practices and has obtained HVE (High Environmental Value) certification.

Average yield: 60 hectolitres per hectare. Average vine age: 30 years
After a relatively mild winter, the spring was cool and rainy, allowing the vines to enter their vegetative cycle under normal conditions. As the season progressed, summer became increasingly hot, leading to drought conditions despite a few significant thunderstorms. The vines experienced water stress until the harvest period. Shortly before harvest, a stormy episode brought sufficient rainfall to alleviate this situation, enabling the grapes to recover from water stress and allowing us to harvest fruit of excellent quality.
The grapes are mechanically harvested, followed by cold skin maceration under a carbon dioxide snow atmosphere and gentle pneumatic pressing. The must is then cold-settled for 24 hours before fermentation and ageing take place in stainless steel tanks.
