Château l’Enclos 2019

5,50  4,40

Pale yellow color with green highlights, clear and bright. The nose remains discreet, revealing aromas of white-fleshed fruits (apple) and floral notes (white flowers) combined with lemony undertones. On the palate, it is a straightforward and honest wine, with a lively attack that offers lemony and tangy flavors, giving it a pleasant liveliness. Well-balanced without being overly complex, this wine charms with its freshness and an honest, invigorating finish marked by citrus notes.

L’ensemble est équilibré, sans grande complexité, mais ce vin à d’autres qualités, il éveille les papilles et est rafraîchissant, finale d’une longueur honnête, vivifiante, sur les agrumes.

Built in the 17th century, Château L’Enclos is representative of the rich and elegant historical and cultural heritage of Bordeaux.

Sustainable farming practices, HVE certification obtained.

Average Yield: 60 hectoliters per hectare. Average Vine Age: 30 years.

After a relatively mild winter, the spring was rainy and cool, allowing the vines to enter their vegetative cycle normally. As the summer progressed, it became very hot, leading to drought despite a few heavy thunderstorms. The vines experienced water stress until harvest. However, a stormy episode appeared just before the harvest, bringing enough water to relieve the situation and allow the grapes to recover from the stress, enabling us to harvest a high-quality crop.

The harvest is carried out mechanically, followed by cold skin maceration under a carbon dioxide atmosphere and snow, and then pneumatic pressing. The must is then cold settled for 24 hours, and both vinification and aging take place in stainless steel tanks.
