Cru Bourgeois
Bright, clear robe, purple with black reflections. Expressive, concentrated, and complex first nose with notes of black fruits (blackberry and blueberry). The more intense second nose confirms the fruitiness and reveals aromas of sour cherry supported by notes of sweet spices mingling with vanilla and roasted coffee. On the palate, the attack is sharp with notes of black fruits, followed by a beautiful and complex aromatic structure with elegant woody notes, roundness, beautiful balance; the finish is enveloped, combining ripe fruits and powdery tannins.

Château d’Argan, which dominates the township of Saint- Germain d’Esteuil, offers the most romantic exceptional sunrise on the Reysson swamp. The main building used nowadays as the winery, was once a port before the draining of the wetland.
Sustainable growing respectful of the plant and the environment.
Average yield : 23 hectoliters per hectare. Average vine age: 40 years.
The grapes are harvested mechanically. Separate vinification of grape varieties is carried out in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. Long maceration (25 days), alcoholic fermentation with regular pump-overs and rackings, malolactic fermentation in tank. Aging planned for 18 months, with 60% of the volume aged in French oak barrels, including 20% in new barrels.
